About Me:

Daniel Vargas relocated to Chicago in 2016 to attend Columbia College, where he graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts in Audio Design & Production with a minor in Music Business.

Daniel first joined the Classick Studios family in January of 2019 as a studio intern. Shortly after, he moved on to assisting L10 at the studio. After gaining some experience working under L10’s wing, Daniel developed and honed in his skills as a mix and mastering engineer and began taking in clients of his own while taking a more hands on role with assisting L10 with his client base.

Daniel has earned two Grammy nominations thus far, one at each of the 2021 and 2022 Grammy’s for his work as Assistant Engineer on Masego’s project “Studying Abroad: Extended Stay” and Tank and the Bangas album "Red Balloon''.

He specializes in recording, mixing, and mastering music in various genres ranging from: Hip-Hop, R&B, Alternative, Jazz, Pop, and just about everything in between.
